The BARD Group has installed two offshore wind turbines on the area of reclaimed land known as ‘Rysumer Nacken’ at Knock, west of Emden. The wind turbines are the same as those that will be used for BARD’s first offshore wind power stations. The aim is to test the whole design intensively under conditions similar to those experienced at sea. The electricity generated will be fed into the general mains supply.
