In the Dutch part of the North Sea, the BARD Group is currently projecting three offshore windfarms. The approvals for „BARD Offshore NL 1“ and „EP Offshore NL 1“ and „GWS Offshore NL 1“ were issued in December by the Durch authority Rijkswaterstaat. Each of the three windfarms consists of 60 wind energy converters. The three neighbouring windfarms are located approximately 35 miles north of the west Friesian island Schiermonnikoog just next to the German border.
