BARD is testing new enhanced Offshore Wind Converters
Two Prototypes of the 6.5 megawatt Class at the Rysumer Nacken
The BARD Group recently started the test program for its new generation of enhanced offshore wind converters. After installing the first “BARD 6.5” turbine in January at the Rysumer Nacken near Emden, the installation of the second prototype will start next Monday, February the 21st 2011. Both prototypes have a capacity of 6.5 megawatt each. The existing “BARD 5.0” nacelles are replaced by the new turbines.
