Fifth windturbine in project "BARD Offshore 1" completed
In the first commercial offshore wind farm in the German North Sea called "BARD Offshore 1" the fifth wind turbine has been fully erected with rotor star. Meanwhile another 4 foundations have been put up approximately 100 km north west of the island Borkum. Further foundation structures and wind turbine generators are being installed. In the project area a total of 80 “BARD 5.0” turbines will be set up. Regarding the start of the installation in March 2010 see our press release.
